The symptoms include irritated, swollen, and bleeding gums, and mobile and sensitive teeth. This condition can be treated successfully with our periodontal deep cleaning and maintenance program. The deep cleaning will allows us to remove all the plaque (bacteria) and tartar from underneath the gums and on the root surface. Consequently, the gums will heal, the bleeding will stop, and sensitivity will be alleviated. The periodontal maintenance procedure will allow us to maintain healthy gums and teeth for a lifetime with regular hygiene appointments at 3-month or 6-month intervals.

Modern dental crowns restore structurally compromised teeth to full function, durability, and beauty. A custom-made crown covers the tooth, protecting and reinforcing it. At Miami Modern Dental we place aesthetic crowns, which are made from fine ceramic or porcelain fused to metal.
Tooth decay and old metal fillings can cause pain and sensitivity. Keep your teeth caries (bacteria) free and without mercury and metal with white resin fillings. At Miami Modern Dental, Drs. Pasquier, Sr and Pasquier, Jr gently place aesthetic, tooth-colored fillings instead of dark amalgams. If you have faulty amalgams in your mouth, or noticeable cavities, we urge to call us immediately. We can replace your old metal fillings and/or restore your decayed teeth, helping you conserve a white, metal-free healthy smile.
Wisdom teeth can cause a lot of problems and discomfort. If the wisdom tooth is only partially out, then food particles can potentially get trapped in between the wisdom tooth and the gum, causing inflammation and swelling - a condition known as Pericorinitis. If the wisdom teeth never came out but you feel pain and pressure, then you are experiencing a condition known as tooth impaction. These symptoms are due to the wisdom tooth pushing against the teeth in front of it. Dr. Pasquier can perform wisdom teeth extractions and other oral surgeries in-office, for your convenience.
