Marlon Pasquier, Sr. and Marlon Pasquier, Jr. of Miami Modern Dental are a father and son dental team who have years of experience in restoring patient smiles. Our state-of-the-art facility is capable of assisting patients of all ages and can help in repairing smiles that have been affected by the loss of natural teeth.
There are many solutions available for repairing smiles after tooth loss. Our practice offers the three main options to our patients, which include:
Dental bridges are porcelain restorations that are designed to use the teeth surrounding the space for support while placing a false tooth called a pontic in the gap. Pontics and crowns are fused together to create this piece which is bonded in place by a dentist.
Dental bridges do require the adjacent teeth to hold the restoration in place. The surrounding teeth are prepared with the removal of enamel, and then impressions are made and used for fabricating the dental bridge. This is done by a professional ceramist whom the impressions are sent to. The process can take a week or two before the bridge is sent to the dental office and patients return for their final appointment: bonding. Drs. Marlon Pasquier, Sr. and Marlon Pasquier, Jr. bond the new bridge in place and patients are able to enjoy their brand new, fully restored smile!
